last week, the local media were splashing endless coverage of the country's high profile court proceeding. DSAI vs Saiful = sodomy. The Star started coverage by spalshing this headline... 'Sodomy Starts'. yehnadey....sick of it actually. i think the people of malaysia are of equally sick to the stomach. imagine...NIE class in school with the headline which reads...'Sodomy Starts'. I bet the teacher must went through hell answering endless questions on DSAI, Saiful and SODOMY. This is the time when the most respected profession becomes the most hated.
probably we might need to observe the phrase.....'in moderation' when reporting of such cases. i personally, and i am sure many agree that we would prefer to read stories about what the government has done to improve the living of the people of this country, the betterment of the nation than wasting pages and pages of the newspaper on reporting the proceedings of this case. if need be, just a half page reporting and the rest 2 to 3 pictures. this is just a story of two men. does the story of this two men will give great benefit to the rest of the 23 million people of this country?

Agreed but our population now is more than 23 million. Meaning more people are sick and tired with this never ending story.

i think its so overrated..byk lagi benda lain boleh tulis kat newspaper tu. just leave those to the tabloids yg tulis benda2 yg kurang cerdik, just to sell newspaper and make money.
I concur the population is 27 million... and I think we have degenerated into a population addicted to sensasionalism and the political circus...
Sometimes you just want to switch off and not want to hear anything at all..
i said to you before and i mention it again that i will vote any party or individual that able to lessen my burden buying disposable diapers and susu and kids nursery fees and food!!!!!!!!! and the list of our everyday needs goes on and on...
